Not all children get an equal start in life…
Our Managing Director, Pedro Carrilho, recently took part in The Smith Family Challenge in Sussex Inlet, NSW, raising much-needed funds to support children in need. Pedro not only did the hard yakka by riding in the challenge; PhoenixDX matched all of his sponsorship donations dollar-for-dollar. Pedro managed to not only survive the challenge but also raised $18,000.
This money will support children by supplying them with school uniforms and supplies and sports packs to allow kids to participate in group activities and reading buddies to foster literacy skills. After seeing the good the money raised will do, we are sure Pedro agrees that the 100km ride was well worth it.
