Overview
Front-end for OutSystems Developers is a thorough, hands-on 1-week program showing how to build interactive, responsive apps. Our best-in-class instructors will guide you through all the tools and best practices of interface designing and developing with several opportunities to gain hands-on experience.
The program comprises UX/UI basics, Front-End Development, Front-End Debugging, and Live Style Guide modules.
Curriculum
Front – End Development (14 Hours)
The Front-End Development module addresses the fundamentals of front-end development in OutSystems, including the OutSystems UI, CSS and Javascript usage, UI customization including themes and patterns, and front-end architecture.
UX/UI Basics (3.5 Hours)
This module explores the basics of UX/UI topics with the support of guided exercises. The main goal is to understand the concepts, processes and pitfalls of creating an excellent User Experience.
Front – End Debugging (3.5 Hours)
The Front-End Debugging module is designed to teach the basics on how to use the browser console to help front-end developers inspect and debug CCS, HTML and JavaScript code. This module will be supported by several practical examples and exercises to put all concepts in practice.
Front – End Consolidation (14 Hours)
This hands-on module consolidates the previously learned concepts to create a tailored branding of a fully-responsive simple live style guide. It will be developed as an OutSystems module to be used directly by developers.
