The challenge

Music is important to the group’s members worldwide. However, they could not easily share music, including songs produced by famous artists and their members. The organisation wanted an application that would enable its members to access music – including music videos – selected by administrators in a user-friendly way. They also saw an opportunity to generate revenue for reinvestment in the group.

The solution

Working with PhoenixDX, the group used the OutSystems platform to build a Spotify-like music-sharing application. The mobile app enables the group’s 40K+ members worldwide to browse, select and listen to songs and music videos from a catalogue curated and managed by the group’s administrators. The music app is available on a free subscription basis for members, with premium additional content available via a paid subscription, creating a new revenue stream for the group.
