OutSystems DevOps (1 Day)
This module addresses DevOps and security topics. It features targeted exercises on securing existing applications as well as lifetime and service centre topics, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance issues. At the end of the module, participants will undertake an assessment.
Best Practices (0.5 Day)
This module addresses OutSystems performance best practices. Participants are taught methods and tools they can use to ensure the OutSystems applications they build are robust, high-performance and maintainable.
Agile Development (2 Days)
This module addresses OutSystems Agile best practices. Participants use a real-world scenario to practice the main team roles of an agile project and its phases.
Prerequisites
This advanced course is particularly suited for OutSystems senior developers, junior tech leads, or architects with at least one year of experience in web projects and who have already completed our Core Ramp Up course. However, tech leads from other technologies can enroll in this course after they have completed an introductory course to learn OutSystems basic concepts and earned an OutSystems Associate (Reactive or Traditional Web) Developer Certification.
What do you need?
Your laptop with Service Studio installed. A few days before the boot camp, you will receive detailed instructions with all the information you need.
Why is this course relevant?
Progressing from software development to a tech lead career involves additional responsibilities that a developer doesn’t usually encounter in their daily tasks. The additional knowledge needed to be a successful tech lead encompasses technical, architectural, operational and soft skills. This course aims to bridge this gap to enable aspiring tech leads to master advanced OutSystems topics, as well as best practice and agile project management concepts.
