Finance Manager

We are looking for a passionate, self-driven and experienced hands-on Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing, developing and overseeing the entire financial management system of our company. As financial management is crucial for our company’s performance, you will play a big role in our company’s growth and success.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end accounting operation for the company
  • Manage Billing/Invoicing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Revenue Recognition & Payroll
  • Complete month-end and year-end close process
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Cash flow management
  • Produce company financial statements and management accounts, cascading business metrics and performance against budget to the stakeholders of the business.
  • Identify accounting, financial and business performance issues and suggest timely solutions
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Implement finance structures to support the business (Consulting/Professional Services, Human Resources, R&D, Marketing)
  • Develop and adhere to policies and procedures


Job requirements and qualifications

  • 2 + years’ experience as a Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager/Financial Controller or similar role
  • 5  + years of combined experience in accounting and finance
  • CPA or CA – (CA preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Commerce
  • Outstanding knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements and general ledgers
  • Good understanding of accounting software and payroll
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional time-management skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with analytical tools (eg Fathom, Qlik, Tableau or PowerBI) preferred
  • Experience in consulting organisations or IT industry preferred
  • Hands on
  • Team player
